Found Art Mosaic Mural Workshop with Isaiah Zagar

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens creator and artist-in-residence Isaiah Zagar will lead the community in a two-day workshop to transform the Freedom Square Art Stage! Under his direction we will complete an original mural mosaic, incorporating found material and ceramic tiles crafted by members of community youth and school groups. Participants will work on the mosaic from conception to completion.

Learn the art of breaking tile, cutting mirror, gluing, grouting and more! Students will help beautify our North Troy neighborhood by completing a permanent, public mosaic mural at Freedom Square – creating a shimmering backdrop for a new art stage.
