The Bread and Puppet Institute for Subversive Papier Mache offers lessons in state-of-the-art puppet making and street theater technology and parades! Learn how to make picture stories (cantastoria), create signs and use found musical objects, learn about hand puppets and giants for rallies, passion plays and parades. Let Bread and Puppet guide you in creatively communicating your voice in the parade and beyond! The workshop is part of StoryHarvest: 2nd Annual Celebration of Art and Food from Seed to Table. It culminates in a parade through North Troy to Freedom Square, where workshop participants join Bread and Puppet in a prologue to their performance.
