Join internationally acclaimed photographers for a seminar in the streets! Learn how to use your camera to raise social awareness, expand public debate, and frame critical issues, working with experienced photojournalists who have dedicated their life to the belief that the personal is always political. With “Facing Change: Documenting America” photographers Brenda Ann Kenneally, Alan Chin and Andrew Lichtenstein.
Be The Media! workshops teach multimedia skills to community members in order to develop urgently needed independent local voices. Our goal is to empower the public through independent media making, supplying them with the tools to tell their own stories through different mediums of media including video, radio and journalism.
