Bend the Bars with Beats: Hip Hop Prisoner Justice

Several of the most exciting talents in hip hop music will stop in Troy NY for “Bend the Bars with Beats,” a free all-ages show in Freedom Square beginning at 5 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Freedom Square is located at 39 5th Avenue, where 101st Street meets 5th and 6th Avenues in North Troy. Bring lawn blankets and chairs; the rain location is The Sanctuary for Independent Media, 3361 6th Avenue (at 101st Street). Featured artists include Rebel Diaz, Baam Bada, S.K.A.T.E. and DJ Trumastr with DJ Cold Cut. “Bend the Bars with Beats” is co-sponsored by the NYS Prisoner Justice Network.
