Sunflower Planting around Norlite
Join us on Saturday, May 15th to plant sunflowers across the City of Cohoes, with the City’s permission. We hope this will be a healing activity for our community that is affected by Norlite’s emissions. Sunflowers not only beautify the landscape, they are hyperaccumulators, removing toxins and heavy metals from the soil.
Where: Saratoga Sites (courtyard)
Bring water to stay hydrated and garden tools/gloves, if handy.
