“The Night of Truth” and “My Lost Home”

Part of the African Film Festival, The Night of Truth (2004) is a drama from Burkina Faso by director Fanta Regina Nacro that mirrors the political strife and genocide in contemporary sub-Saharan Africa. The short My Lost Home (2002) by Kamal El-Mahouti explores the complexly intertwined history of France and Morocco.
